  1. Using the strategies outlined in this lesson, locate existing and established blogs that are already speaking to your target market.
  2. Use the blog commenting feature on these blogs to leave comments that add value to or engage the author in dialog.
  3. Leave links in blog comments only when appropriate.
  4. Avoid leaving a link in a comment the very first time you leave a post. Establish your reputation by leaving a few quality comments over a period of time before adding links to comments. The only exception would be when you can see that other commenters are leaving links as well.
